The book details William Green’s campaigns in Northern Europe, Spain & Portugal, including his exploits as a veteran of the battles of Ciudad Rodrigo, Badajoz, Busaco and Corunna in his own words. It goes on to cover the recent discovery of his war medal, the ceremony to mark the erection of a memorial stone in his home town of Leicester, UK, as well as the historical background.
